The Center For Agriculture Transformation (CAT), in cooperation with Lilongwe University Of Agriculture And Natural Resources (LUANAR, has invited 25 agriculture companies to showcase their technologies both at Bunda college and NRC campus. The enterprises include seed companies, fertilizer companies, soil science companies, pest control companies, greenhouse grower companies e.t.c. We are in the race to showcase the performance of Bionitrate fertilizer on maize production. Bionitrate is liquid organic fertilizer that is made from processed human urine. The field in the picture, at Bunda college campus, is performing above average, contrary to the rest. In the field, no chemical fertilizer was applied. Only compost manure and Bionitrate fertilizer were applied, once respectively. You can also find a similar maize field applied with Bionitrate fertilizer at NRC campus.
